The Immigrant Times
Solidarity Prize 2026
Honouring places to be proud of

Please nominate a place where people of all backgrounds stand by one another
The Solidarity Prize, created by The Immigrant Times, celebrates communities where people of all backgrounds live, work, and simply enjoy one another’s company, together and in harmony.
The Prize will be awarded to a town or city, large or small, where residents have shown that, regardless of whether their neighbours are newly arrived immigrants, families with roots in other parts of the world, or locals whose ties span generations, they stand by one another.
The winner of the Immigrant Times Solidarity Prize will NOT be decided by a panel of experts or jury but by members of the public. With the Solidarity Prize Project, we wish to show the human generosity of ordinary people. We hope you will take part.
We would therefore like to invite you to nominate a town or city that you feel is a good place for people of all backgrounds. Share stories of local policies that foster inclusion, moments of kindness between neighbours, and the ways your community stands up for one another. Whether it’s a local government programme, a charitable initiative, a grassroots effort, or a simple act of everyday care, we want to spotlight what solidarity looks like in practice.
In short, we want to feature places that everybody can be proud of. Places that can be role models to others.
The Solidarity Prize will be awarded in 2026.
